Tennis & Pickleball
Two courts, a resident pro and a summer of tournaments.
The two courts were built in 1964 to save the club, and they have been the heart of it ever since. Our tennis pro, Doug Madeux, runs the program from Memorial Day weekend to the Tennis Ball, with something on the court for beginners, juniors and serious competitors alike.

Clinics & camps
Weekday clinics for adults by level, junior clinics from pee-wees and rising stars up to high-school training, and week-long camps in summer. The schedule and sign-up are on the tennis bulletin board and in Court Reserve.
Private lessons are available from the pro — contact tlbctennis@gmail.com to get started.
Tournaments
The summer calendar is a club tradition: the Laura Keswani doubles on Memorial Day weekend, the Spiegel Open mixed doubles, the Duryee Club Championships (singles, doubles and mixed), Adult-Junior doubles, Friday-night doubles, and the Traditional Wood Racquet tournament on Labor Day weekend.
It all ends at the Tennis Ball, where the season’s trophies are handed out.

Pickleball
Pickleball has taken hold at the club, with nets and lines on the courts and the Tony Aiuvalasit Pickleball Tournament every August. Beginners are welcome — it takes about an afternoon to get hooked.
Members: court reservations and the full tennis schedule are in the members’ area.
